With youthful design, intuitive technology and the sporty AWD performance you’d expect from Acura, it sets a new standard as a gateway into the luxury brand. A well-appointed cabin with a long list of standard features and a spacious cargo area are perfectly suited for active lifestyles.
Acura understands this; premium isn’t about size, it’s about quality, technology, and luxury amenities. And while the ADX may be compact, it offers all that you’d expect from a premium vehicle.
This all-new SUV comes in three flavours: ADX,
ADX A-SPEC™ and ADX Platinum Elite A-SPEC™.
But regardless of trim, you’ll experience that premium feel first in the design language. Dominating the look is Acura’s ‘frameless’ Diamond Pentagon grille, a distinctive jewel in gloss black. The Chicane™ LED daytime running lights are signature Acura, while an active grille shutter, front lip spoiler and side air curtain inlets not only add to the design but also help with aerodynamics and fuel economy. The ADX A-SPEC™ and ADX Platinum Elite A-SPEC™ also get LED fog lights.
Youthful and distinctive
The long, muscular silhouette with low beltline makes it look more like a sporty coupe than an SUV. The ADX gets pewter-grey 18-inch wheels, while the ADX A-SPEC™ and ADX Platinum Elite A-SPEC™ jump to 19-inch alloys. In the rear, the Chicane™ motif is reflected again in the LED taillights, while the wide hatch and fascia enhance the SUV’s wide track. Overall, it’s a youthful and distinctive look.
Inside, you and your passengers will be wrapped in a premium, sporty cabin, which is available in either full Ebony or Red/Ebony colour combinations. The standard one-touch panoramic moonroof brings the outside in, and the front heated body stabilizing seats reduce discomfort on longer drives; those seats are also ventilated on the top two trims. Premium materials are at every touchpoint; the top two trims also get Ultrasuede® seat trim, a flat-bottom steering wheel with perforated leather, stainless steel pedals and chrome gear selector for a sportier feel.
And while this is a compact SUV, you’ll feel it’s much larger inside. Rear passengers get a generous 958 millimetres of leg room, and with up to 690 litres of cargo room behind the 60/40 split rear seats, and up to 1,560 litres behind the front seats, you’ll have plenty of space for friends and freight; for example, two mountain bikes can be fit right inside. A power tailgate with Walk Away Close is also standard with hands-free access available on the Platinum Elite A-SPEC™.
Built on Acura’s history
But looking sporty is one thing. Built on Acura’s history, the ADX delivers in the drive, too. Standard all-wheel drive means more control in many conditions. A 1.5L turbocharged engine matched to a CVT with ‘gears’ you can select via metal paddle shifters, ideal for downshifting into the corners. An advanced body structure with fully independent sport-tuned suspension and dual-pinion assists electronic power steering make for thrilling curves, yet the ADX still offers the luxury refinement you’d expect from a premium SUV
But it wouldn’t be a luxury vehicle without advanced technology to help make the drive safer and more comfortable. The ADX features AcuraWatch®, a suite of safety and driver-assistive technology that are designed to instill more confidence in the drive; up to 12 separate systems working in tandem with each other include Adaptive Cruise Control with low-speed follow, Blind Spot Information system, Collision Mitigation Braking System™, and Rear Cross Traffic Monitor, among others.
Stay comfortable with standard equipment such as heated front seats (ventilated on the top trims), heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and Active Noise Cancelling for a quieter cabin. Stay entertained with the available Bang & Olufson® 15-speaker sound system designed specifically for the ADX. Stay informed with the 10.2-inch Precision Cockpit™ digital instrument cluster. And stay connected with the standard 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and available tech like Google built-in (with subscription), Alexa built-in, and WiFi Hotspot (with subscription).
